PATENT QFFICE ADOLPH LlEBENROTH, OF COLLEGE POINT, NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR COVERS OF ALBUMS.
Specification forming part of Design No. 9.832.
dated June 6,1876; application filed May 20,18'16.
[Term of Patent 7 years] corner, and at the middle part, within the border, is the eye; at the middle, within the lower border, is represented the Maltese cross. The central space inside the border contains the word autographs, in an ornamental tablet, with a cross and crown before the illuminated A.
The annexed print shows the said design.
The design aforesaid is to beimpresscd into the covers of autograph and other albums, in the usual manner of ornamentiug books, and gold-leaf is generally used with such iinpres sion but the color forms no part of my said design.
I claim as my invention--- 7 1. The design of the impression to be printed upon the covers of albums, consisting of mssonie emblems and ornamental border, arranged substantially as above described.
2. The design of the impression to be printed upon the covers of books, consisting of the ornamental tablet, containing the illuminated word autograph, as represented.
