PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A KNITTED FABRIC OR LIKE ARTICLE William J. Beniston, Seaford, N. Y., assignor to Julius Kayser & Co., New York, N. Y., a corporation of New York To all whom it may concern.'

Be it known that I, WILLIAM J. BEmsroN, a citizen of the United Statesv of America, residing at Seaford, New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Knitted Fabric or Like Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming part thereof.

The gure on the drawing is a plan View of a piece of knitted fabric showing my design.

The design comprises essentially the following elements:

A row of bean-shaped elements arranged end to end and all having their concave faces in the same direction;

On the concave side of this row a parallel row of small elements or dots arranged so as to form a faint zigzag;

A second row of bean-shaped elements parallel to the rst row, staggered with respect to the elements in the first row and concave in the opposite direction.

A row of elongated dots on the convex side of the row of bean-shaped elements, these dots being arranged in zigzag relation so as to give a very clear zigzag line.

These rows are repeated inthe order given throughout the fabric.

The ornamental design for a knitted fabric or like article as shown and described.
