To all whom it may concern:

. Be it known that I, WILLIAM HAYFs, a

naturalized citizen of the United States, residing at Detroit, in the county of Wayne and State of Michigan, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Deck of Playing Cards, of which the following is declared to be a full and complete specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

My invention relates to card games and provides a design of a deck of 52 cards in which each of the four suits of 13 cards represent a different color, as black, red, yellow and green, in order that the suits ma be readily distinguished in this manner. nly

one suit of 13 cards is illustrated, however the remaining three suits of 13 cards each are identical except for the use of red, yellow and green coloring, respectively.

With reference to the drawings:

Figures 1 to 13 inclusive illustrate the suit of the deck of cards representing the color black, showing my new design.

The dominant feature of my design is the ornamentation upon the face of the cards.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a deck of playing cards, as shown and described.
