MILTON W. STERN, OF NEW YORK, N. Y.
DESIGN FOR A GEM SETTING FOR RINGS, PENDANTS, AND EAR RINGS Application filed August 24, 1932. Serial No. 44,678.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, MILTON TV. STERN, residing at New York city, in the county of New York and State of New York, have intion of its face, the form has a raised, generally elliptical main setting in which is set a stone of corresponding form. That portion of the face of the form which surrounds the central, raised main setting is provided at each end with a series of three slightly raised smaller secondary settings in each of which Term of patent 3% years.
is set a stone of proper size. The center seting of the series is located substantially in the axis of the form, while the other settings of the series are located on either side of the axis of the form. Equidistant from either end of the form and on each side of the main setting is a single small setting which is slightly raised above the face of the form and set with a stone. Between the series of small raised settings and the single small settings are other still smaller settings which carry stones depressed below the level of the series of settings and the single small settings so as to be approximately flush with the portion of the face of the form which surrounds the main setting. The side edges of the form and the edges of all of the settings are knurled.
I claim: The ornamental design for a gem setting for rings, pendants and ear rings as shown and described.
