Be it known that I, THOMAS J. STEARNS, of Boston, in the county of Sufi'olk and State of Massachusetts, have invented a, new and original Design for Oarpets, of which the following is a specification:

The nature of my design is fully shown in the accompanying photographic illustration.

I claim The design for carpets, as set forth, and

shown in the accompanying photographic iilustration.
