DESIGN FOR CENTER-PIECE FOR CElLINGS.
Specification forming part of Design No. 6,71 l, dated June 24, i873; application tiled May 31, 1873.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, BERNHARD DREYER, of the city and county of Philadelphia, in the State of Pennsylvania, have invented and pro duced a new and original Design for a Center- Piece for Ceilings; and I do hereby declare the following to be a specification thereof.
The nature of my design is shown in the accompanying engraving, which forms a part of this specification, and represents so much of a center-piece, made according to the said design, as is necessary to show my invention.
The leading features of this design are as follows: The figure A B 0, whose perimeter consists of straight and curved lines, disposed substantially as shown, and incloses the incised work D D, radiating from the center. The circular molding E between two ogee moldings, F, diametrically opposite to each other. The honeysuckle G in the space between the circular and ogee molding.
The details of the ornamentation may be varied.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, 1S
1. The figure A B O and incised work D D inciosed therein, substantiaiiy as shown and described.
2. The circular molding E between two ogee moldings, F, diametrically opposite to each other.
3. The honeysuckle G in the space between the circular molding E and ogee molding F.
4. The entire design, substantially as shown.
