Be it known that I, JOSEPH M. UnmsTm, of England, new residingin the city of Brooklyn, county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and origincl Design for a Pattern to be Inwronght into Two or Three Ply, Ingrein, and other Carpeting, in such colors as may be desired; and I do hereby declare that the photographic print accompanying this specification does give and convey to any one skilied in the art of carpetweaving a. more definite and thorough description of the nature of my invention than it is in the power of language otherwise to convey,

and it is suificient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving to use my invention. CEaini.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The configuration of the design hereunto annexed, when made by being inwronght into two or three ply, ingrein, or other carpeting in the form similar to the photographic print accompanying this specification.
