To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, EDWARD JOHN RIDG- WAY, a subject of the King of Great Britain and Ireland, residing at Staten Island, in the county of Richmond, State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Plate or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a face View of a segment of a plate showing my new design applied thereto.

Fig. 2 is a segment of a plate showing my design drawn to an enlarged scale, to show the detail more clearly.

Fig. 3 is a face View of a plate, drawn to a smaller scale, showing my new design applied thereto, it being understood that the design is repeated around the entire circumference of the article.

Fig. 4 is a side elevation of a plate, with a broken section showing my new design applied thereto.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a plate or similar article as shown and described.
