Be it known tha-t;i I, EDWARD PERRIN, of Kidderminster, in the county of WVoreester, England, have invented a new and original Design for a Carpet, of which the following is a specification:

The accompanying photograph fully illustrates my new design.

This invention relates to a new design for carpets or similar fabrics, and is composed of groups of large squares arranged about smaller squares, and with intervening narrow oblong spaces. The large squares, of which four are around each small square, contain ornamental rosettes. The narrow spaces are also orua mented by oval rosettes, as shown.

I claim as my invention- The design for a carpet, as shown.
