1 '0 all whom it may concern Be it known that I, ARrnMAs lVARo, J12, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Detroit county of Vayne, and State of Michigan, have invented anew, original, and ornamental Design for an Instrument-Board for Automobiles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a perspective view showing the front of an automobile and an instru ment board embodying my design, the latter being broken away.
Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing a part of the instrument board and the inclosing walls below the same.

I here is a downwardly and backwardly inclined plate 6 extending from side to side of the body at the front and within the same and having its upper edge substantially coincident wlth the upper edge of the forward part of the body. The plate I) is cut away at the center and the aperture thus formed is covered by a plate a bearing the various instruments and hinged to the plate 6 at M. Inside of the plate 6 are inclosing walls a which form a complete inclosure having a cubical form or a rectangular cross-section in both longitudinal and transverse planes for the connections and interior parts of the instruments. The plate a forms the cover to said inclosure.
