Be it known that I, FRANCIS A. Goonnow, a citizen of the United States, residing at Elgin, in the county of Kane, State of Illinois, have invented a certain new, original, and ornamental Design for Watch-Dials, of which the following is a description, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The figure is a plan View of a watch dial, showing my new design.
This design consists in the formation of the face of the dial with the annular outer portion upon which are placed the Roman numerals, indicating the hours, this being in yellow metallic letters contrasting with the silvered appearance of the face of the annulus. At the lower portion there is, having the appearance of an insertion, the
