General Description.
Figure 1 of the drawing represents a napkin-ring nrmed in accordance with my invention. It consists of a twisted-wim blank, Figure 2, and a metal band, ligure 3.
The blank is composed of two pieces of wire bent into the required shape, which can be seen by an exmination of fig. 2, and then twisted together, as shown, in a machine. The ends of the blank are then twisted together so as to bring the blank into a cylindrical form, and after the required shape is given to the cylinder upon a mandrel the band, lig. 3, is slipped on and the ends united by the plate or clasp shown in the completed ring, lig. 1.
A modification of the form ofthe blank is shown in Figure 4.
'lhe wire for the body of the ring may be twisted up in any other way than that described and shown with out varying or departing from my invention.
