The lens opening is surrounded by a circular bead the base of which springs from the polygonal front of the body. Downward illumination is supplied by light passing out of the glazing openings at the bottom of the lamp, and, when the lamp is lighted, this gives the lamp a very attractive and esthetic appearance.
