The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
I, 4HUGH S. Krenn, of Philadeipl1ia,connty of Philadelphia, State ot' Pennsylvania, have invented or produced a Design for a Carpet-Pattern, of which the following isa specification.
In the accompanying drawings the figure represents sufficient ot' a carpet-pattern to illustrate my design, which consists, mainly, of oval or elliptical medallions, A, and intervening ornamentation, B.
Each of the medallions A has a double bordel', consisting of curved bars, a and l), of the character represented, and theinterior of each of the said medallions is occupied by an ornament, c, composed of flowers, leaves, and stems, arranged as shown.
The arrangement of the foliated ornamentation B between and snr-rounding the medallions A is ot' a character too clearly represented by the drawings to need description.
A continuons rib or stripe, G, composed of a nurnber ot' minor stripes, crosses the pattern between the medallions, but without being broken or interrupted by the latter.
Claims.
1. The design for the medallions A, with their borders a and b, and interior ornament o.
2. The design for the ornamentation B, as shown and described.
3. The design for the continuons stripe O, arranged in respect to lthe medallions A, as described and represented.
4. The design for the whole pattern, including the medallions A, ornamentation B, and stripe C.
