To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, JOHN MERRY, a subject of the King of Great Britain, residing at New York city, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Rug, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

The drawing illustrates one quarter of a rug showing my new design, the remaining three quarters become duplicates thereof, when the one quarter shown in the drawing is reversed bi-symmetrically from the central axes, both horizontal and vertical.
