DESIGN FOR A TRADE-MARK.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that 1, J oHN S. PEMBERTON, of Atlanta, in the county of Fulton, and Stute of Georgia, have invented n new und improved Design for Trade- Murk; and I do hereby deel-.rre that the followingz,r is :r full, clem, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the nrt to ineke and use the sznne.
This invention relates to :t new und original design for L trade-merk for the sale of our Globe-Flower Sirup 5 and consists of n branch or sprig of the globe iiower, embracing three leaves and blossoms cornbined.
The two lower leaves a a spread to the right and left from the stem, while the other :tud larger lent' b stands nearly upright, with the iiower c directly above the stern d, which points downward.
Above the left-hund leaf is the word globe in Roman capitals. To the left of the point of the oentral leaf is the word of To the right, and extending from neer the upper point of the central leaf to neer the point of the right-hand leaf a', is the word flower in capitals.
The above words globe-Hower incline downwnrds from left to right.
Oeutrztlly, over the whole, on :t line eurvincr upward, are the words compound sil-up in cztptnls.
The leuves ure their nnturztl color, or green. The blossom is its mrturzrl color, or yellow.
The words globe-liower :1re in red color, the Word of is blue, :rnd the words compound sirup :u'e blue, shaded with red, the whole being on :t white ground.
Having thus described my invention,
I claim its new, :rnd desire to secure by Letters Potent- The above-described design for :L trzule-rmn'k, substantially as nud for the purpose set forth.
