FRED L. EBERHARDT, OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, ASSIGNOR TO GOULD 85 EBERHARDT, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A FRAME FOR SAND-SIFTERS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,695, dated June 1901- Applioation filed May 16, 1901. $erial No. 60,617. Term of patent 14 years.
To aZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FRED L. EBERHARDT, a citizen of the United States, residing at 17 Hillside avenue, Newark, county of Essex, State of New Jersey, have invented a certain new and useful Design for the Frame of a Sand-Sifter, fully described and represented in the following specification and the accompanying drawings, forminga part of the same.
The present design relates to that class of machines in which a shaft is supported upon a frame and a rotatable sand-sifting screen is attached to one or both ends of the shaft, and the design is for the frame of such machine.
The design is illustrated in the annexed drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective view of the frame. Fig. 2 is a top plan view. Fig. 3 is an end elevation, and Fig. 4 is a side elevation.
This design comprises a stand supporting a vertical disk-like body at, having a tubular bearing 1) at the bottom, with an enlargement b at the center, two fiat seats 0, projected from opposite sides of the body below its center, and a fiat seat d upon the top of the body. The flattened circularbodya is formed with rounded edges and a central opening e. The seat 01 is disposed chiefly at one side of the center line. The stand comprises a rectangular foot-plate f, having flanges g, which extend up to the under side of the bearing b, and flanges h, which extend up to the under sides of the seats 0.

Having fully set forth the nature of the invention, what is claimed is- The design for the frame of a sand'sifter, substantially as herein shown and described.
