DESIGN FOR A GASKET.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design N0. 33,048, dated August 7, 1900.
Application led July 7, 1900. Serial No- 22,880- Teru of patent 7 years.
VAMES A. ANDERSON, citizens of the United States, residing at Oneida, in the county of Madison, State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Gaskets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, and in which we showA an isometrical View of our design complete.
As shown in the accompanying drawing, the leading or material feature of our design consists of a casket-body having its corners provided with sets or series of vertically-arranged leaf-moldings a a', as shown.- At the lower edge of the casket-body and between the series of leaf-moldings a is an olive-leaf molding Z9, and the upper edge of the casketlbody is provided with a similar molding b.
The central portion o of the body is plain.
The cover d is elongated cone-shaped, and the edges are provided with an olive-leaf molding d,save at the oorners,which are provided with sets of leaf-moldings e to balance the vertically-arranged leaf-molding upon the body. The casket thus constructed forms a unit-ary design, its corners terminating in graceful curves and the intermediate moldings of peaceful and restful design.
