SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,939, dated July 10, 1900. Application filed April 14, 1900. Serial No.12,946. Term of patent 3% years.

Be it known that I, FRANZ HANSHAMMER, a subject of the Emperor of Germany, residing in the city of Concord, in the State of New Hampshire, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Decorative Frieze, of which the following is a specification, reference being made to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
The drawing represents a front plan View of the design.
The leading features of the design consist of a. number of female figures grouped together gathering fruits, indicating the idea of harvest, (1 2 3 4 5,) and also other figures grouped together and indicating the idea of a hunt, (6 7 8.) These decorative figures are placed on a groundwork or base rectangular in outline.
The Whole design represents autumn, as 20 illustrated by the gathering of fruits and hunting.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a decorative frieze, as herein shown and described.
