SPECIFICATION forming part of DesigmNo. 30,393, dated March 28, 1899. Application filed September 30, 1897. Serial lit-853,647 Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HORACE E. MILLER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark, county of Essex, and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Mirror-Frames and the Like, of which the following is a specification.
My invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, of which the leading characteristic and essential feature is the circular and reentrant roll given to the extreme outer periphery of the frame.
In the drawings forming part of this specification, Figure 1 is a front elevation, and Fig. 2 a central sectional elevation thereof.
At 1 in the drawings is the backing, which is shown as circular in form and which pro- 20 jects outwardly, as shown in Fig. 2, partaking of a convex or dish-shaped appearance or configuration.
At 2 is the rim, which comprises the outward roll 3, segmental in form and merging into the backLandarentrantinward roll4,segn1ental in form and merging into the outer roll 3, the free edge 5 of the inner roll approaching close to the inner surface of the outer roll 3, the inner circular face 6 of which is presented toward the backing 1.
Having described my invention, I claim- 'The design for a mirror-frame or the like, substantially as described and shown.
