DESIGN FOR A BRAID AND RUFFLE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,042, dated January 17, 1899.

Application filed December 21, 1898. Serial No. 699,963. Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, HARRY M. LIPPER, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city and county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Braid and Rulile, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

The leading feature of my design fora braid and rufile is a braid having a corded body and an exterior ruffled appearance.

Figure 1 represents a side elevation of a piece of braid and rufiie embodying my design. Fig. 2 represents a section thereof on line as :c, Fig. 1.

In the drawings, A designates a piece of braid and rufiie which is exteriorly of ruflled form and has a spiral edge B.

O designates a cord extending longitudi nally through the body of the braid and rufiie.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
