DESIGN FOR A STOVE-LID AND. PAN LIFTER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,940, dated June 28, 1898. Application filed May 28, 1898. Serial No. 882,070- Term of patent 3% years.

he invention consists, further, in certain 5r features of design hereinafter fully debed.
1 the drawings forminga part of this specition, Figure 1 is a perspective view of a re-lid and pan lifter constructed in aciance with my design. Fig. 2 is a side or e view of the same. Fig. 3 is an edge eferring now to the drawings, A indicates cylindrical-shaped shank or body portion, i B a curved prong at one end, C an abruptly-curved prong, andD a longitudinallyprojecting prong. The face of the prong end is flattened, as shown at E.
F indicates a prong at the opposite end of the shank or body portion, and G a prong projecting in the direction of the prong F, and H a short prong projecting at an angle to both the prongs F and G.
1 indicates the flattened face of the prong end, and K an orifice or opening produced in the said end.
A stove-lid or pan lifter constructed in accordance with this design is ornamental and also useful, the operation thereof being obvious to any one skilled in the art to which it relates.
Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is-
