DESIGN FOR A HEAD FOR BUTTONS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,679, dated May 24, 1898.
Application filed March 24, 1898. Serial No. 675,044. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANK I. LAWS, a citizen of the United States, residing at Beebe, White county, in the State of Arkansas, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Head for Buttons, of which the following is a specification.
Figure 1 is aplan of the head, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is a side elevation As shown in the drawings, the leading and essential feature of my new design fora head for buttons consists of a diskshaped base, the figure of a bug or beetle occupying the central position upon one of the flat faces of I the base, and an imitation of a rope passing around the body of the beetle and tied to itself, said rope extending from the beetle to near the edge of the disk and then around the beetle upon the disk.
Referring by numerals to the drawings, 1 is a disk. 2 is a beetle occupying a central position upon the upper face of the disk, and 3 is an imitation of a rope, said rope passing around the body of the beetle and from the beetle to near the edge of the disk, and then around the beetle upon the disk.
I claim The design for a head for a button substantially as herein shown and described.
