TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, WILLIAM W. REYNOLISS, of Brandon, in the county of Rutland,l and State of Vermont, have invented a new and original Design for Counter Scales; and I do hereby ,declarethat the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, whichl will enable others'skilled' in the a'rt to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification. l I This invention relates -to a new and ornamental design for` counter' scales, such as are portable, or may be readily moved from place to place on a counter. Similar letters of reference indicate like parts. A' f The base A and standard B are in one piece, the former projecting at A-etijual,distances'froin opposites sides of the lower part of the latter.
