To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, CHARLES M.\\Iirrn i m;, a citizen of the United States, residing at Meridcn, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented and prod need a new and original Design for a Spring, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in whieh Figure 1 is a perspective view of a spring, showing my design. Fig. 2 is a front elevation. Fig. 3 is a plan view, and Fig r is a side elevation thereof.

My spring is a two-armed plate-spring, the arms standing atan acute angle to each other.

A is the arm which constitutes the shank of the spring, and B is the other arm, which constitutes the body of the spring. These arms stand at an acute angle to eaeh otherand join each other with a short and graceful curve at. 5. The outer ends of both a rms are slightly rounded, as shown, and the outer end of the arm B is curved out wardl v, so as to form a convexfaee (i on its inner side and a concave por tion 7 on its outer side, as shown. The shank A is also perforated near its end, the perforation being preferably in the form of an oblong hole h, the longest diinensionsof said hole extending longitm'linally with said shank.

\Yhat I claim is- The design for a spring. substantially as shown and described.
