FIG. 3 is an elevational view, similar to FIG. 2, but rotated 90 with respect to FIG. 2;

FIG. 4 is an end view taken from the upper end of the device as represented in FIG. 2;

FIG. 5 is an end view taken from the lower end of the device as illustrated in FIG. 1;

FIG. 6 is a partial side elevational view of an alternative configuration for the bottom end of the brake rod portion of the apparatus; and

FIG. 7 is a partial perspective view showing the harness portion of the apparatus unwound in a condition for use, the brake rod taking the form of the species of FIG. 6.

I claim: The ornamental design for a combined escape apparatus and line-brake, substantially as shown and described.
