FIG. 4 is a cross-section view taken along the lines 43-4 of FIG. 2; and

FIG. 5 is a cross-section view taken along the lines 5-5 of FIG. 2.

The essential features of my design for a knife or similar article of flatware reside in the configuration of the handle in combination with the particular pattern of surface ornamentation as applied thereto.

The design is intended for use on sets comprising forks, spoons, knives, and similar articles of flatware.
