SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,923, dated October 25, 1892.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, SAMUEL D. LUX,of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Box-Covers, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact specification.

Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 represents in perspective a neck-tie box having my new design embodied in the internal eover thereof, and. Fig. 2 is a perspective View of the cover removed.

The design consists in the configuration of the cover A, as shown, which represents a novel grouping of figures approximating a series of cigars. Thus the top surface a has in relief a series of parallel figures a, simulating individual cigars, and between said figures, at the back, appear the pointed figures 11 also in relief and appearing as it below the figures a, and at the front appear figures aialternatingwith the front terminals of the figures a. The figures a a appear as if continuations of each other and merge into the figures a, as if lying beneath the same. The forward defining-lines of the figures a n at the extreme edge a form scallop-like figures, as shown.
