DESIGN FOR A SINK-TRAP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,776, dated August 9, 1892.
Application filed June 30, 1892. Serial No. 438,622I Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HARRY C. MONTGOMERY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Cleveland, county of Cuyahoga, and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and useful Design in Traps for Sinks, lasins,and the Like, and commonly known as sewer or sink traps; and the following is a speciication thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, which shows a side elevation of my newly-designed trap.
The leading feature of the design is found in the shape orcontonrof the body of the trap, which may be described as consisting of two sectionsor portions Aand B. The lower portion or section A is formed with perfectly plain smooth sides and surface and is annu lar in cross-section except at; the opening for the elbow E. The sides taper in Straight lines from the annular bead a to the point a' near the base or bottom of said part A, where the base is contracted and finished with a bead a2 and an ornamental pendant ci. The upper portion or section of the body of the trap is cylindrical with plain parallel sides h and nished with ornamental bands c and d at its middle and top, respectively. The upper portion B has the appearance of being sel; into the portion A like aseetion ot' pipe or tubing, but in fact is formed in one piece therewith.
That I claim is- The design for a sink-trap, as herein shown and described.
