LOUIS STEINBERGER, OF NEW YORK, N. Y. ASSIGNUH 'lO GEORGE Kl 'EllL, OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS.
DESIGN FOR A GAME-COUNTER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,710, dated May 5, 1891.
Application filed February 24, 1891. Serial No.382,63l. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom, it may concern.-
Be it known that I, LOUIS S'rEiNBEnuEn, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented a certain new and useful Design for Game-Counters, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying draw ings.
The design consists in the novel ornamentation for a game-counter as hereinafter set forth, and shown in the drawings.
In said drawings, Figurel illustratesa face view of a game-counter ornamented with my 15 design, and Fig. 2 is a cross-section of the same.
Referringto said drawings, the outer-circular line indicates the marginal edge of a game-counterz The said game-counter is ornamented by placing thereon the representation of a clover-leaf and a horseshoe. The representation of the clover-leaf is in the background and the representation of the horseshoe is in the foreground and in front of said representation of the clover-leaf, and both of said figures are approximately arranged eentrally upon the face of the game counter. Around the said ornamentation and concentric with and arranged a slight distance from the periphery of the game-counter a circle is shown, which serves to add a pleasing effect to the same. It will be understood, of course, that the design shown and described is placed upon both faces of the game-counter and serves to ornament the same in an effect- 5 ive, symmetrical, and harmonious manner, which is agreeable and pleasing to the eye.
I claim as my invention-- The design for a game-counter, substantially as shown and described.
In testimony whereof Iaffix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
LOUIS S'IEINBERGER.
