FIGURE 1 is a perspective view of a chair, showing my new design;

FIGURE 2 is a side elevational view of one chair leg;

FIGURE 3 is a front elevational view of the leg of FIGURE 2;

FIGURE 4 is a transverse cross-sectional view of the leg of FIGURE 3 taken along either of the lines IVTV of FIGURE 3;

FIGURE 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line VV of FIGURE 3; and

FIGURE 6 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line VI-VI of FIGURE 3.

The dominant feature of my design resides in the shape of the legs shown in full solid lines on the drawing. This comprises the progressively deeper flutings in the outer surface or surfaces of the leg beginning at a point near 04 ga I L 1 FIG. 2 FIG,

the top of the leg and progressing to near the bottom thereof below which the peripheral shape of the leg is rapidly restored to its initial or upper shape.
