DESIGN FOR A GAS-PIPE BAND.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,673, dated March 4, 1890. Application filed December 31 1889. Serial No. 335,556- Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern.

Be it known that I, WILLIAM H, BERGER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a certain new and useful Design for Gas-Pipe Bands; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, Which form part of this specification.

This invention has relation to designs for gas-pipe bands; and it consists in a gaspipe band having the surface ornamentation hereinafter described, and shown in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a front View, and Fig. 2 a side View, of a gas-pipe band embodying my design. Fig. 3 is a sectional View.

The design, in its essential features, consists in an arch A, With ears B, pierced for the passage of fastening-screws, and with a projecting ridge or band C, terminating in small circular beads or flanges d, surrounding the screw-holes.

The design exhibits the following features: the arched band, with the plain or unbeaded portion on either side of the bead C, and the plain surfaces (1, from which rise the beads d and the bead G. The latter may be surfaceornamented according to taste.

Nhat I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for a gaspipe band or strap, as shown and described.
