Term of patent 14 years (Cl. D741) FIG. 1 is a side perspective view of a base for a memorandum pad showing my new design;

FIG. 2 is a similar view thereof as it appears with the clamping member in raised position;

FIG. 3 is a side elevational view of the base shown in FIG. 1; and

FIG. 4 is a rear elevation of the base shown in FIG. 1.

The dominant features of my design reside in the combination on the base for a memorandum pad disclosed of the molded L-shaped unitary base and upright back together with the hinged retainer flap and the inclined pins engaging therewith, all as shown. The broken line illustration of a pad in FIGS. 1 and 3 is for illustrative purposes only.

I claim: The ornamental design for a base for a memorandum pad, substantially as shown and described.
