The design is embodied in a fabric having a surface of isolated raised portions of plastic superposed on and ad- .hering to a base made of standard strands or threads and .represented by the straight line in Fig. 2.

A complete design unit is included within the brokenliner rectangle, and this unit is reproduced in regular succession throughout the length and width of the fabric.
