Term of patent 14 years (Cl. D74-1) Figure 1 is a perspective view of a letter opener or the like embodying my new design. Figure 2 is a top plan view of the cross guard thereof, the blade portion being omitted for convenience of illustration.

Figure 3 is an end elevational view of the cross guard as seen from the right hand end of Figure 1.

Figure 4 is a side elevational view thereof, the side opposite thereto having a similar appearance.

The dominant features of my design are shown in solid lines.

I claim: The ornamental design for a letter opener or the like, substantially as shown and described.
