Figure 2 is a perspective view of the rear and the opposite side thereof;

Figure 3 is a side elevation of the housing;

Figure 4 is a front elevation;

Figure 6 is another side elevation.

The dominant features of my design reside in the portions shown in the full linesin the drawings.

The design is characterized by the applied ornamental strip which runs as a raised ribbon horizontally along the side walls of the housing and substantially completely therearound; by the overall streamline effect of the top l l l of the housing being smoothly curved into the side walls and sloping downwardly toward the rear; and also by the shape and size of the front opening which is substantially less than one-half of the width of the front of the housing.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a housing for a dictating machine, substantially as shown and described.
