UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE LENS PANEL FOR DIRECT LIGHTING FIXTURES Robert G. McPhail, Newark, Ohio, assignor to Holophane Company, Inc., New York, N. Y., a corporation of Delaware Application August 11, 1953, Serial No. 26,400
Term of patent 14 years (Cl. D48-23) To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Robert G. McPhail, a citizen of the United States of America, and a resident of Newark, county of Licking, State of Ohio, having invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Lens Panel for Direct Lighting Fixtures, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
In the drawings:
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the lens panel for direct lighting fixtures showing my new deslgn;
Figure 2 is an enlarged bottom plan view of the area bounded by the lines 2 2 of Figure 1;
Fig. 3 is a fragmentary cross sectional view to a larger scale taken on line 3-3 of Fig. 2;
Fig. 4 is a fragmentary cross sectional view to a larger scale taken on line 4-4 of Fig. 2; and
Fig. 5 is a fragmentary cross sectional View to a larger scale taken on line 5-5 of Fig. 2.
The design forming the subject-matter of the present invention is for a lens panel for direct lighting ixtures, tne panel being of arbitrary over-all length and width.
The design is characterized by diagonally disposed, checkerboard-like areas, one diagonal row of such areas having each of the lenticulations therein of smaller dimension than the lenticulations of the adjacent diagonal row.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a lens panel for direct lighting fixtures, as shown and described.
