UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE RAILWAY CAR BODY Stanley WfKay, Chicago, Ill., assignor to Pullman-Standard Car Manufacturing Company, Chicago, 111., a corporation of Delaware Application April 29, 1952, Serial No. 19,516
Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Stanley W. Kay, a citizen of the United States of America, and resident of Chicago, county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Railway Car Body, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings forming part thereof.
In the drawings:
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a railway car body showing my new design;
Fig. 2 is a side elevational view of one side thereof;
Fig. 3 is an end elevational view of one end thereof;
Fig. 4 is a side elevational view of a portion of one side of the railway car body opposite that shown in Fig. 2;
Fig. 5 is a side elevational view of that portion of the railway car body complemental to that illustrated in Fig. 4;
Fig. 6 is a top plan view of a portion of the railway car body; and
Fig. 7 is a top plan view of that portion of the railway car body complemental to that shown in Fig. 6.
The end of the car body opposite that shown in Fig. 3 has not been illustrated but is of that same design.
The dotted lines shown on the drawing are for illustrative purposes only.
The characteristic features of the design disclosed reside in the dome portion extending substantially full length of a railway car body having the configuration shown.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a railway car body, substantially as shown and described.
