PATENT OFFICE LADYS STOCKING Charles E. McCarthy, Palisades Park, N. J., assignor to Chadbourn Hosiery Mills, Incorporated, a corporation of North Carolina To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Charles E. McCarthy, a citizen of the United States, residing at Palisades Park, in the county of Bergen and State of New Jersey, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Ladys Stocking, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, in which:

Fig. 1 is an elevational view of a ladys stocking, the new design of which is particularly characterized by a plurality of colored bands located in the top portion of the stocking and which are shaded to show contrasting color; and,

Fig. 2 is an enlarged fragmentary showing of the portion of the design features included in the circle shown in Fig. 1, and which shows more clearly the contrasting, colored bands in the top portion of the stocking.

This application is a continuation-in-part of my application Serial No. D23,752, filed February 24, 1953.

I claim: The ornamental design for a ladys stocking as shown and described.
