UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE OVERSHOE Rena Bell Hardman, Los Angeles, Calif. Application May 15, 1950, Serial No. 9,948
Term of patent 14 years s (Cl. D74) To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Rena Bell Hardman, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Los Angeles, in the county of Los Angeles, State of California, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Overshoe, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
Fig. 1 is a front perspective view of an overshoe in open position, showing my new design;
Fig. 2 is a three-quarter perspective view of the overshoe in open position;
Fig. 3 is a view similar to Fig. 2 but with the overshoe in closed position; and
Fig. 4 is a View similar to Fig. 1 but with the overshoe in closed position.
The design is characterized by the two reverse longitudinal folds of the front portion of the upper vamp material, said folds extending substantially tangent to the pairs of fastener halves as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, and producing in the fastened condition as illustrated in Figs. 3 and 4 the characteristic central longitudinal line of closure and the underlying triangular fold extending to one side of said line of closure and showing through the transparent material as geen in Figs. 3 and 4.
I claim:
'Ihe ornamental design for an overshoe, substantially as shown and described.
