Be it known that I, William F. Vernon, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newton, in the county of Jasper and State of Iowa, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Ash Tray or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part hereof.

Fig. l is a top plan view of an ash tray or similar article, showing my new design;

Fig. 2 is a side elevational view thereof;

Fig. 3 is a bottom plan view thereof;

Fig. 4 is a cross-sectional view thereof, taken on lines 44 in Fig. 1; and

Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional View thereof, taken on lines 5-5 in Fig. 1.

I claim: The ornamental design for an ash tray or similar article, substantially as shown.
