SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 16,030, dated April 7,1885.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that we, AUGUST Sonwuuzzs CHILD and NELsoN Gnni-ixrii-zrn, citizens of the United States, residing in the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and pro duced a new and Original Design for Candy and Confectionery, of which the following is a specification, reference hei ng had to thcaccoinpanying drawing, forming part thereof.
This design consists in therepresentation of candy or confectionery in the general form or configuration of a broom, with either one or both surfaces of the broom presenting the shape of the broom-splinters. It: may be provided with a handle or not, as desired.
The drawing shows the general design, in which the general form of the candy repre- Term olpatcnt 35 years,

Having thus described our invention, what 20 we claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
A design for candy or confectionery herein shown and described, the same consisting of the conventional shape ofa broom, with either 2 one or both surfaces representing conventional broom-splints.
