UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A KNIFE REST William R. Vermillion, Kansas City, Mo.

Term of patent 14 years (Cl. D14-29) To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, William R. Vermillion, a citizen of the United States, residing at Kansas City, county of Jackson, and State of Missouri, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Knife Rest, of which the following is a speciiication, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

In the drawing- Figures 1 and 2 are plan and side views, respectively, of a knife rest, showing my new design;

Figure 3 is an end View of the device, corresponding to the end which accommodates the tip end of the knife blade;

Figures 4 and 5 are transverse sectional views, representing sections taken on the lines 4--4 and 5-5 of Figure 2; and

Figure 6 is an end view of the device corresponding to the end which accommodates the handle end of the knife.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a knife rest substantially as shown.
