To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Herbert W. Sams, a citizen of the United States, residing at Atlanta, in the county of De Kalb and State of Georgia, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Mechanical Pencil, of which the following is a, specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Fig. 1 is a front elevational view of a mechanical pencil, showing my new design;

Fig. 2 is a side elevational View taken at right angles to the disclosure in Fig. 1; and,

Fig. 3 is a top plan view corresponding to Fig. 1.

I claim: The ornamental design for a mechanical pencil, as shown.
