Be it known that I, Max Kahn, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Mechanical Pencil, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

In the drawing Fig. 1 is a front elevational view of a mechanical pencil, showing my new design;

Fig. 1B is a view from the writing portion end;

Fig. 2 is a fragmentary rear elevational view thereof;

Fig. 4 is a. bottom end View thereof.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a mechanical pencil, substantially as shown.
