UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR AN AIRPLANE John K. Northrop, Los Angeles, Calif., assignor to Northrop Aircraft, Inc., Hawthorne, Calif., a corporation of California Application January 3, 1942, Serial No. 104,985

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, John K. Northrop, a citizen of the United States of America and resident of Los Angeles, county of Los Angeles, State of California, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Airplane, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof. Fig. 1 is a three-quarter perspective view from above of an airplane in flight posture, showing my new design.

Term of patent 14 years Fig. 2 is a side elevational view of the airplane shown in Fig. 1.

Fig. 3 is a top plan view of the airplane.

Fig. 4 is a front elevational view of the airplane.
