SPECIFIGATION forming part of Design No. 14,080, dated July 10, 1883.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, CHARLES W. SWAPP, of the city and county of New York, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwrought in Two or Three Ply Ingrain and other Carpeting, in such colors as may be desired; and I do hereby declare that the photographic print accompanying this specification conveys to any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving a clear understanding of the same, and is sufficient to enable such person to use my inven tion.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for ornamenting ingrain or other carpeting, as shown in the photographic print accompanying this specification.
