PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR AN APPLIQUE EMBLEM OR SINHLAR ARTICLE Henry Porter, Glendale, Calif., assignor t0 the United States of America, as represented by the Secretary of War To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Henry Porter, a citizen of the United States and a resident of the city of Glendale, county of Los Angeles, State of California, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Appliqu Emblem or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a front elevational view of an appliqu emblem showing my new design;
Figure 2 is an edge View thereof.
In these views I have used standard color symbols to indicate contrasting color areas in which the tiger is preferably developed in orange, yellow and black with wings of light blue and the V is of a darker blue.
While I have shown my design in the form of an applique emblem it is understood that the same may be embodied in other similar articles such as badges, placards, banners, buttons, pins, arm pieces and the like without departing from the spirit of my invention.
I claim:
The ornamental design for an appliqu emblem or similar article, as shown and described.
