Be it known that I, David J. Saltman, a citizen of the United States, residing in Los Angeles, in the county of LOs Angeles and State of California, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Endpiece for a Sofa or the like, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Fig. 1 is a perspective view of an endpiece for a sofa or the like, showing my new design;

Fig. 2 is an enlarged side elevational view; and

Fig. 3 is an enlarged front elevational view thereof.

Fig. 4 is an enlarged perspective view taken from a lower and, different angle than shown in Fig. 1.

I claim:

The ornamental design for an endpiece for a sofa or the like, substantially as shown and described.
