DESIGN FOR A PAIR OF SPECTACLES George E. Nerney, Attleboro, Mass., assignor to Bay State Optical Company, Attleboro, Mass.,
a corporation of Maine Application March 3, 1941, Serial N 0. 99,297
Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, George E. Nerney, a citizen of the United States and a resident of Attleboro, in the county of Bristol, State of Massachusetts, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Pair of Spectacles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
In the drawing,
Figure 1 is a front perspective view of a pair of spectacles, showing my new design; and,
Figure 2 is an enlarged fragmentary perspective view of an endpiece portion of the pair of spectacles shown in Figure 1.
The dominant feature of the invention lies in the angularly shaped endpiece portions of the spectacle frame, said portions being formed of a non-metallic material such as Zylonite, each of said portions having a flat metal insert therein substantially parallel to a horizontal plane when the frame is Worn, said insert also having an exposed part at substantially right angles thereto.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a pair of spectacles, substantially as shown and described.
